General Store Policies
Appointments & Walk‑Ins
- Appointments are recommended; walk‑ins are welcomed based on availability.
- Late arrivals of 10+ minutes may result in a shortened service or rescheduling.
Payments
- We accept cash, debit, and major credit cards.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Promotions cannot be combined unless stated.
- All listed prices do not include GST.
Gift Certificates
- Gift certificates are non-refundable.
- Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged.
- Must be presented at the time of service.
Loyalty Points & Birthdays
- Urban Nail Bar offers a points-based loyalty program as a thank-you to our clients.
- Points are earned on eligible services only and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Points are non-transferable and may not be combined with certain promotions.
- Loyalty points may expire after 1 year if not redeemed.
- Birthday reward: $5 off may be redeemed toward services of $30 or more. Client information must be on file.
Cancellations & No‑Shows
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
- Repeated no‑shows may require a deposit for future bookings.
Children, Guests & Belongings
- For safety and comfort, children must be supervised at all times.
- Only service guests are allowed in treatment areas.
- Urban Nail Bar is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
Health & Safety Policies
Medical Conditions & Allergies
- Please inform our staff of any medical conditions (including diabetes), skin sensitivities, pregnancy, or allergies (e.g., latex, fragrances) prior to service.
Open Wounds & Infections
- For your safety, we cannot perform services on clients with open cuts, fungal infections, warts, or contagious skin conditions.
Sanitation
- All tools are cleaned and disinfected according to health regulations.
- Disposable items are single‑use only.
Service Satisfaction Policy
- Please inspect your nails before leaving. Adjustments must be requested at checkout.
- No refunds are offered once services are completed.
- Warranty: 7 days from the original service date for complimentary fixes related to workmanship only.
Fill & Maintenance Policy
- Fills are recommended every 2–3 weeks for best results and nail health.
- Services requested after 4 weeks of growth may be charged as a full set, at technician discretion.
Liability Waiver & Disclaimer
By receiving services at Urban Nail Bar, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Nail and spa services carry inherent risks, including but not limited to allergic reactions, irritation, infection, or injury.
- You have disclosed all relevant health conditions and allergies prior to service.
- Urban Nail Bar, its owners, and staff are not liable for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions, improper aftercare, or services requested against professional advice.
- Results may vary based on individual nail condition and lifestyle.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Urban Nail Bar reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for: Safety or hygiene concerns, Inappropriate behavior, or Non‑disclosure of medical conditions.
